View moreFor the past 30 years, ABSOLUT VODKA has been on a mission of sharing art with the world. This summer, ABSOLUT VODKA collaborates with internationally renowned urban street artists Stephen Powers and Chiho Aoshima to launch four limited edition pitchers featuring contemporary custom-designed artwork. These collectable pitchers make mixing and sharing drinks among friends easy and exciting.
“ABSOLUT has always had a great interest in and a passion for artistic expressions and popular culture. We are truly grateful for our collaboration with Stephen Powers and Chiho Aoshima in inviting consumers to experience the ABSOLUT art of sharing, our universal idea of sharing art, food, drinks and experiences.” says Malin Stålnacke, Promotion Development Manager at The Absolut Company.
The vision from ABSOLUT VODKA of sharing art and drinks is brought to life through four limited edition pitchers, featuring custom-design by two of the most exciting contemporary urban artists of today: New York’s Stephen Powers and Tokyo’s Chiho Aoshima. They have created two unique artworks each to be shared with the world, allowing consumers to share both art and drinks with friends.
The ABSOLUT ART OF SHARING limited edition pitchers is built on the legendary ABSOLUT heritage of creating groundbreaking bottle and package designs, with recent big sellers like ABSOLUT ROCK EDITION and “In an ABSOLUT world, every night is a masquerade gift pack”.
In the interactive environment, the ABSOLUT ART OF SHARING will be experienced on a web site based on Google Street View – a true manifestation of the public space as a platform for interacting and sharing. The idea is to create an urban gallery in Google Street View, in collaboration with Stephen Powers and Chiho Aoshima, as well as local urban artists around the world. The gallery will present artwork, drinks and pitchers in carefully selected spots in Tokyo and New York City.
